It took 9 years of begging my parents for a sibling before my sister finally joined me.  I guess I must have been a handful for them to have waited so long 🙂  However, she was worth the wait. Being nine years apart we were at very different stages most of our lives.  Now that we have both reached “adulthood” , at least in terms of age 😉  that nine year spread seems much closer.  We have enjoyed having her back home and my kids love spending time with their Aunt Kim.  She is a brave woman….this summer while my tennis team was at state, she went with Cole to the beach and kept the kids while Cole was at a conference and as I type this she is at home with all the kids so that Cole and I could come to Atlanta to meet with our architect…..what a sister!

If you don’t understand how a woman could both love her sister dearly and want to wring her neck at the same time, then you were probably an only child.  ~Linda Sunshine

I love you Kim! Thank you for your servant heart and for being a great little sister!
