>While we have not yet felt God lead us to adopt a child with Down’s Syndrome we have been praying for one special boy assigned to our family through Reece’s Rainbow’s Prayer Ministry. We received his photo in the mail early in the summer and his precious face has been hanging in front of our sink (we all spend a great deal of time here, so it is a sweet reminder to pray for him often, plus he’s just too precious and we love seeing his sweet face). We have been praying that God would provide him with the perfect family to give him all the love and care he needs and teach him about his Heavenly Father. I wasn’t sure if we would ever find out who that family was, but God gave us that sweet blessing a few days ago. I was cruising a few blogs and there was his precious face and the precious family adopting him. Please join me in praying for sweet Aiden and follow the Loux family’s journey to bring him home. Three other special little boys who are in his same orphanage will also be coming home soon and they will be his cousins. You can follow their journey as well on the other Loux family’s blog. I could hardly wait for the kids to get home from school so I could share the wonderful news! I pulled up the web site and called them in to my room and told them I had some great news to tell them. They all came quickly and Zoe’s first guess was…. “Aiden has a family?!?!” and it was with tears in my eyes and praise to God that I was able to tell them all “YES!” and we get to follow along on their journey via their blog. It has been such a blessing to watch my children pray for him and his family and an even greater blessing for them to get to experience the power of prayer first hand!
