It’s something I will never understand or accept as long as I live. Everyone deserves a family and as long as there are children waiting then I’ll be advocating. These are just a few in the Alabama Foster Care system available for adoption. I’m so excited to be beginning classes in January to become a licensed foster family! If you are local and interested in joining us we’d love to have you! Classes will begin Sunday, January 10, 2010 at Morningview Baptist Church at 5:00! There are activities for children and it’s early enough to get everyone in bed for school the next morning.

Twas the Night before Christmas–for the parentless…………
Twas the night before Christmas and all through the land No stockings to be hung by the chimney with care Their beds are not snug–but cold and quite bare While we in our homes, laughing in delight When in some one’s heart–there arises a clatter Away to the computer please go in a flash While a child you see–their beautiful face all aglow When in the dreams of the orphan–what always appears As you stare at that child–your heart beats real quick– More dreams sweet children have–to call parents by name- To the ends of the earth–your heart seems to call So on a plane to your child–over rooftops you flew And then in a twinkling-I saw through the door As I got my camera and was turning around- He was dressed in many layers from his head to his foot there was no round face–no plump little belly In a swirl of a pen, and a stamp and a seal We spoke not a word–they weren’t needed at all God layed his hands on my heart–and to the occasion I rose It won’t be a shout–no not even a whistle Can you make room in your heart–if you try with your might? I can see you exclaim as you hold your child tight– |
